Moving forward tends to come with the pain of looking back

Seeing as I have been insanely busy these past weeks working on reports as well as on some new steps that I want to take in the future, I’m keeping this month’s post short. Please share whatever thoughts about what has been happening in your own life you would like to share with me, I’ll make sure to respond. To be honest, I have been having a rather tough time the past month, putting in a lot of effort in trying to realise my ambitions, like finishing one degree so I can start with the next one, and finding work that leaves enough room for me to do the work that I actually want to do, like writing.

It has also been my birthday last month, which coincided with Julian Assange’s possibly final court hearing. Check out the post I wrote about it if you have not read it yet. I shared a little bit about how much what has happened to him has affected me personally. In many ways, what I saw those in power do to him is why I have started doing this work. In some ways, even why I have become the person that I am today.
