Good to be talking to you again. For this Monthly Musing, I'll be talking a bit about how I’ve been working on creating balance in my week. I'll also share some of the things that I'm working on for this newsletter at the moment.

This month I have been focused on getting a good flow going; a weekly rhythm that stimulates productivity and helps keep me in balance, so I don't end up with long periods without motivation. It also helps maintain and stimulate my creative flow while making sure I’m also still able to pay the bills with other work. My creativity is still pretty high, which tends to be a good indicator of how relaxed I'm feeling, and there are many things that I want to be working on. Too many, in fact, which is why I have pushed some of the work I've been doing to next month so that I could focus on getting other things done. There have also been a couple of days where I was sick and didn't get enough proper sleep, but even through those days I have managed to stay productive in ways that did not feel forced. Overall, what seems to have helped the most is having multiple things that I can work on that demand different types of energy or creativity, like an interview, a fiction story, and a thought diary. Next to that there’s taking good care of myself by eating healthy (most days at least), doing activities I enjoy, and keeping my thoughts in the here and now as much as I can.
