Going paid on Substack, sharing personal events, and getting a cat
I am not yet sure what I want the monthly posts to be, or how long they should be, and maybe I do not have to know that. Maybe this is just the way they should be, let the words freely flow out of my brain like a river out of a mountain, with me writing about whatever is on my mind as well as about what has been going on in my life. The highly personal nature of such a post is also part of the reason I wanted to offer these monthly musings as a bonus to my paying subscribers. Let them not only serve as a heartfelt thank you for supporting my work, but also as a starting point for a deeper discussion between us. Life can be hard, let us make it a bit easier by sharing our experiences, our successes and failures, and our humanity. This first post will be freely accessible until the Going Paid Party ends on the 8th of May, which is also the day that the discount period ends.
