Thanks! Yes, the recycling process is probably geared towards certain types of plastic. And I’m sure that without standardization you keep getting people throwing the wrong stuff in the wrong bins. Also, sometimes it’s due to the material itself, for example potato chips bags are very difficult to recycle because they are aluminum with a layer of plastic. Or pizza boxes, the fat from the pizzas means those can’t be recycled either.
